Sprouse Industries President, Jes Sprouse, speaks at the ribbon cutting ceremony of a new "algae farm" in Prince George County, Virginia.  This pilot scale facility is proving that algal biomass can be cost effectively grown to produce competitive biofuels and other valuable products while improving the environment.  (See the Algal Farms Inc. webpage for more information).

Hopewell, Virginia Delegate Riley Ingram enjoyed driving the Sprouse Industries "Algae Car" around the state capital.  The vehicle runs on biodiesel fuel produced from the Prince George algae farm. Algae biodeisel can be used in any diesel engine without modification.
